Because Bitbucket removed all Mercurial repo's, https://bitbucket.org/jtuc/winmerge2011 disappeared.

I see https://github.com/jtuc?tab=repositories has no WinMerge2011 repo.

Is https://github.com/monoblaine/WinMerge2011 now the official repo?

What about https://github.com/datadiode/winmerge2011?

Or any of these: https://github.com/search?q=winmerge2011

Or somewhere else?

Or none?

Thanks!

I'm afraid the original repo seems to be long gone. This repository was simply a mirror of the original one and I was using HgGit for synchronization. (The last sync happened on 30th June, 2020) The master branch is untouched and the dev branch includes my weird hacks.

What about https://github.com/datadiode/winmerge2011?

It looks like yet another mirror but to be honest, it's more of a fork than a mirror because it includes really nice features!

By the way, Takashi's fork has been declared as the official WinMerge and it's also in active development.

Thank you for all the helpful details!

Do you think this repo contains all the updates to the Bitbucket repo before Bitbucket removed all Mercurial repos?

Regarding the datadiode WinMerge2011 repo on GitHub, datadiode said that they are jtuc, so I think that repo will continue to see development as well as Takashi's now-official fork.

According to this: https://bitbucket.org/blog/sunsetting-mercurial-support-in-bitbucket

[Update July 1, 2020] Today, mercurial repositories, snippets, and wikis will turn to read-only mode. After July 8th, 2020 they will no longer be accessible.

If that's the case then this repo should probably contain everything the Bitbucket one had since the last the sync I've made was on 30th June, 2020.

By the way, I did some digging 🕵️‍♂️: datadiode/winmerge2011#5 (comment)

datadiode and jtuc really seem to be the same person so we could say my repository is kind of obsolete.
