Any update to the dropbox link and the NCBI folder paths in the works?

Hi Andrew,

I can't speak for Morgan, but I don't believe this version of Microbedb is being developed any further. One big issue is ncbi changed the structure of their ftp directory so microbedb can no longer mirror it properly. In addition that dropbox file, which originally was from ncbi, hasn't been updated in a few years.

I rewrote the core mirroring functionality of microbedb to handle ncbi's new ftp directory structure, V2 can be found at: https://github.com/lairdm/microbedb

Unfortunately it doesn't have the local genomes features of microbedb, that wasn't part of my core requirements when updating the software. But if you just need microbedb's ability to mirror and version ncbi's bacterial genomes V2 should meet your needs. In addition it has a significant space savings in that genomes which don't change between versions are symlinked rather than re-downloaded.

I'll gladly accept any pull requests to V2 to add more of the original microbedb functionality to the new version.
