Microsoft PowerToys version

"0.35.0"

Running as admin

Area(s) with issue?

Welcome / PowerToys Tour window

Steps to reproduce

Test Environment:
OS: Windows 10 Build 21354.1
App version: 0.35.0
App name: PowerToys
Screen Reader: Narrator
Tool: Accessibility Insight for Windows

Repro Steps

  1. Launch 'PowerToys' application.
  2. Turn on the 'Narrator'.
  3. Application will get open with default list item 'General' selected.
  4. Navigate to 'Welcome to PowerToys' link present at the right side of the pane and activate it.
  5. 'Welcome to PowerToys' window will get open.
  6. Navigate using 'Tab' key.
  7. Observe the issue.

User Impact: Priority-1
If any application does not expose information and mechanisms necessary to track focus, text insertion point, and selection attributes (e.g. whether text has been selected for copy/paste) of user interface components, it would be difficult for the platforms that provide Accessibility APIs, and would in turn affect the screen reader dependent users to determine the focus.

Note: Same issue repro with NVDA also.

MAS4.2.10_Welcome_narrator focus not navigating to links.zip

✔️ Expected Behavior

Narrator focus should navigate to ‘Microsoft Docs’ and ‘PowerToys in our release notes’ link along with keyboard focus navigating via 'Tab' key.

❌ Actual Behavior

Narrator focus does not navigate to ‘Microsoft Docs’ and ‘PowerToys in our release notes’ link.
Only the keyboard focus navigates and narrator focus stays on 'Welcome to PowerToys' item and remain silent.
