Currently, when the dock is populated with multiple open applications (including unpinned ones), they become hidden behind a scrollable section. To improve this, we could group all opened apps—such as unpinned applications, the Trash, and mounted volumes—into a single container. This container could sit alongside the "Show Apps" button, making the dock more organized. While this may be a change some users aren't fond of, we could make it optional, allowing users to choose whether they want this feature enabled.
