picoprobe setup?

Hello, I'm trying to emulate this setup for setting up a debug adapter that will make it possible to debug Raspberry Pi Pico code. However, I am stuck and cannot figure out what to do (newbie to dap, sorry). Here's how far I got:

when running continue, dap says that the adapter did not respond. Any pointers? it's a rather complicated place to start, I guess but I really need this setup in my projects at the moment :)
