Print labels from recipe for storing leftovers! #4880

This is an interesting use case that I could get behind. For the holidays I made a lot of pies, and just wrote on each of the boxes with what they were, when they were made, etc. This would be a step up to being able to print onto a label printer for that, or for what you had mentioned as a mealprep that I personally would also want to show the calorie information on. Since Mealie has all that data, it's a matter of being able to output that in the print dialog, as well as formatting it to the specific label size. The caveat here is that I know typically you have to have to set the specific label type / size / font / etc inside the application to match the specific label printer you have, and that can certainly be a pain. I'd be curious to just have a test with printing it onto a normal 8.5 x 11 and cutting it myself to tape to what I made as a Proof of Concept. |

Glad someone else would have a use for this! There are libraries that handle the nitty-gritty of label printing with page size and drivers and all that, the one I've played with is https://www.msweet.org/lprint/lprint.html made by the CUPS team. |

First Check
Please provide a concise description of the problem that would be addressed by this feature.
It would be really neat to have a way to print labels for leftovers from a recipe. Often we will mealprep or otherwise bulk prepare from recipes stored in Mealie via a tablet in the kitchen. Having a button to then make labels we can stick to containers to be frozen would be handy!
Please provide a concise description of the feature that would resolve your issue.
Another option on the three dot menu to the bottom right of the recipe picture, this could work via existing browser print dialog letting the chef select the label printer and number of copies. The only adjustment to be made is a distinct label formatted view of the recipe, maybe with an additional field for reheating instructions (or just whatever's in the existing Notes field?) the date the label was printed, and a thumbnail of the pic shown in the main recipe card. Something like:
Please consider and list out some caveats or tradeoffs made in your design decision
This could be made fancy with the ability to include variables like [servings] or [author] in some kind of designer view but a basic print form would satisfy most use cases. I would love a server-side output, meaning the choice to use the browser print dialog or chose to output to a CUPS connected printer elsewhere in the house. Different sized forms / labels would be fun too, for including ingredients, potential allergens, or whatever if you have sensitive housemates who eat leftovers.
