The library depends on Veramo v4.2 because that version is delivered as commonjs module for node. The latest version 5.x is only delivered as ESM module.

The @ltonetwork/lto library is delivered as both ESM and commonjs from v0.16, so it should be possible to make this an ESM module.

  • Get the mocha unit tests to run using ESM
  • Update veramo libs to latest
