When you type names, exact name matches rather than description matches should take priority.

Current behaviour:

Expected: "System Monitor" should be the default option at this point.

Anyone with Steam who adds games to their menus may also not like Steam being way down the list after typing Steam. Or forgetting this behaviour and typing Steam and pressing enter, only to have a game (whichever is alphabetically first) launch instead of the Steam client.

Hi, I'm having this same issue right now. Didn't find you issue when doing a search. I guess my issue is a duplicate of this one. #251

Confirmation it is an issue in Cinnamon as well I guess.

@GeorgelT Cinnamon doesn't use mintMenu. Yours is a separate issue and I've moved it to Cinnamon.
