Styling entirely broken on Slack 4.2.0 #246
Comments
Me too! |
So, one of my issues was fixed with my comment here: #234, since I'm using it on the desktop client, however Slack seems to have changed their entire DOM structure so the primary workspace is different than threads and the other workspaces. I'm using the arc-dark variant and it's mostly busted :( |
arc-dark became messed up as well after the recent update. |
So I haven't used Slack in ages, and I've since moved to other tools. I did assume the project wasn't needed since the release of built-in dark mode. Is it not all that great then? |
I've been using the new dark mode in Slack since it was released and have found it as good if not better than the "black" theme we were maintaining here. Thus I personally no longer have the motivation to keep this theme up to date. But if others would like to take that on I'd be happy to help with any and all pull requests 😄 |
I like arc-dark more than default dark Slack themes. However Slack now also has some manual customization for colors, so I might try that. |
Really? Where is Slack's color customization? All I knew about was the sidebar. |
Your user name (left top) > Preferences > Themes It even has custom theme config there. |
Well right, but that just themes the sidebar, that's been there forever. There are only 2 options for the main window, light or dark. |
Is this tool developed anymore? Haven't seen a commit in 4 months. It's way superior to Slack's built-in dark mode, I'd hate to see it die off.
