I hope this doesn't sound rude, but if you want me to remember all of this, you should report itemized issues as feature requests. These are all good ideas though. |

Using MIDI CC & PC w/Element as an EFFECTS RACK SYSTEM - changing NODE NATIVE PRESETS + creating and making SCENE CHANGES.
#1, I want to thank the creators &/or developers for ELEMENT! ...I have been able to fashion a hell of Guitar using ELEMENT, honestly in every way it is as if BOB BRADSHAW built me one of his Rock Rigs with Multiple Heads and a WET DRY WET configuration.....
EXCEPT FOR 3 PRIMARY THING; which I am hoping you all would ratify!
#1.) Being able to use MIDI CC / MIDI PROGRAM CHANGE on "ELEMENT" PRESETS OF THE nodes/PLUGINS, so that we do not have to create an instance of a plugin for every preset needed and in the process, slamming the CPU... Basically turning a plugin-instance into a "PHYSICAL-RACK" MOUNT EFFECT DEVICE, where we can make presets and switch them according to assigned midi cc/ midi program changes - using midi learn to make it even easier. I would personally gander, having the ability to at least do 16 NATIVE NODE PRESETS per plugin instance would solve even the most demanding situation, moreover a situation where 5 years and 9 albums later, there is enough to go around for any project.
#2.) I use a Dell Optiplex 980, there is a ton of power under that hood, however in ELEMENT the CPU LOAD will get up to 80% however when I check my WINDOWS 7 TASK MANAGER, the cpu reads 13% usage. A few of the cores does reflect the 80% usage, the rest of very low. I was wondering if you guys could please install into ELEMENT the ability to FORCE THE CPU TO A SINGLE CORE!!! This way we could have vast amounts of head room in the program and not need to purchase a hella expensive PC, given that all these 64 VST/PLUGINS have a chronic tendency to be BLOATED AND EXTREMELY HEAVY, even on the standard oversampling settings.
#3.) Do to effects chaining issues in ELEMENT, things have to be changed in a certain way for guitar players, specifically in PARALLEL. However in order for effects to trail-out properly and to save CPU; when switching we need turn Effect/Nodes off but the audio will pass through and this causes major issues. The natural remedy is to MUTE THE NODE however, we then have to assign yet another IA switch on our MIDI FOOT CONTROLLERS, and we have to manually switch both on ever node. The Solution naturally is to use (1) switch, which we can set an IA SWITCH to turn on/off + mute/un-mute simultaneously. The issue is we have no way of designating the reverse turning on mute and power off/ power on while un-muting. ................. My FRACTAL MFC 101 MIDI FOOT CONTROLLER has IA switches on it that can send 2 MIDI CC commands per switch. When set up an IA SWITCH to command a node, there is no way to designate the second function of my IA switch, assigning to other functions on the node.
Additional issues I am having with ELEMENT; I am unable to use the ELEMENT NODE widgets like the MIXERS, ROUTERS etc.... When I save and restart the program or just close the session and reopen it, all of the paths/cables are gone!
I would also like to address adding the ability of setting to AUTO-LOCK the cables to the nodes once the links are made and being able to move them on the fly with a "alt/ or ctrl/ PLUS click and drag. Whereas, all to often while maneuvering around the gui, cables get moved far to easily.
Hopefully, you guys can somehow make these accommodations, which will make ELEMENT monumental! Listen guys I really think that if these changes are made - you all have the only real platform that will work as an uncompromising TOUR GRADE format for seasoned pros and wannabees alike - that would actually enable guitar players to drop the hardware and take a true virtual platform from the garage to the world stadiums.
Cheers and Thanking you all in advance,

So you can get a massively better ideal of what we as guitarist are referring too, check this video(s) out:
Picture everything in those racks is what the VST PLUGINS are representing. The midi controller is the BRAIN/ CONDUCTOR. We need to be able to SWITCH PRESETS WITH IN EACH VST via MIDI CC/MIDI PROGRAM PROTOCOL.
