I have just added an issue to propose implementing custom routing in connectors, by adding intermediate routing points; the 2 features might co-exist, I think. |

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The chain view can be really confusing if wires are crossing each other, with no way to easily differentiate where each one is going.
Describe the solution you'd like
I would like if jump signs are implemented, it's two miniature tag-like nodes, one for input and other for output. Each node has a unique name that is used to identify each node's input and output. This is often used in logic board diagrams to make the diagram more readable. The same principle here. Photoshopped screenshot included.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Each wire could also be colored by the user, which would help to see where each wire is going to if you have them close to each other. The user could color the wires through the node output configuration. Some plugins already have channel colors pre-set, which could be used.

Note: This is a very crude sketch. Still, it shows the point.
