It would be great to guide the user more easily through the different “helping-section” tabs in the start interface: Currently, the start page has a stable tab “Help/Examples” which shows all example queries per default. The user can switch between the example queries and the tutorial. The latter is less prominent. There is no further “meta information” (or guiding information) provided.
For the user, it would be easier to get the information first that there are a tutorial and example queries for each corpus (maybe with a little preview and a description). Then, the user can chose what he/she would like to use to explore ANNIS and the corpora and is aware of the existing helping-sections.

Having selected a single (or more corpora) the helping-sections would provide only information/example queries for the selected corpora (which is also the case in the current ANNIS version).
This feature request would be about a different, more user-oriented organization and display of already provided information and functions in ANNIS.
