after enabling the adddon it opens 10 new kodi windows on macos

After enabling the addon it automatically opens about 10 new windows with "Playback failed" message. If i manually close all windows except the first one, it happens again after i go into add ons section. If i disable skin helper service addon, everything works as expected...
