Add TypeScript support

Is it possible to add typescript based projects support?

I'm assuming you mean adding typescript support to the webpack config for things like the dev server and the build step?
Right now there isn't any way to modify the webpack config directly but I was planning on splitting out the build process and adding a config setting to point to a custom webpack config so people aren't stuck with the settings.
All of the build process stuff will probably be moved to a different project since that is really outside the scope of knit.
