From a usage point of view, it might be better to include some certain amount of models in configuration space first before implementing phase space.

Suppose I am working on a time series forecasting model, I would like to test my model on a diverse selection of models. Be it phase space or configuration space, it may not be as important as the diversity of the time series data.
