Exporting layers is way slower in Gimp 2.10

When exporting (no matter the ouput format) each layer takes 2-3 seconds to export. For files with lots of layers, exporting them all ends up being ~10 times slower than when using Gimp 2.8. Anyone else has this issue?

Version of Export Layers: 3.3.1

Version of GIMP: 2.10.8

Operating system: Windows 10

The slowdown is indeed noticeable when moving to GIMP 2.10. I'll see what I can do. From my observations, though, it looks like the slowdown affects other plug-ins in GIMP 2.10 for Windows as well.

I've noticed it as well. Previously i was exporting 1000 layers in few seconds. Now it takes few minutes to export.
