hdfs cluster

i was trying to set to 2 namenode(1 active, and 1 standby node) and 2 datanode hadoop cluster.
i wanted to see how did you configure the hosts, how many machine did you use when you created this cluster, also will i be able to use your code for my requirement with minor changes.
