Unnecessary step when introducing to GitHub

These steps in "Setting Up GitHub" are misleading - you should create a repo, not a project, to be able to see these file.
You are going through creating a repo in "Creating a Private Repository", so perhaps these points could be removed:

3. Edit the README.md and .gitignore files for your new project.
4. Save the changes (this is called a 'commit') and say in a general way what edits you did.
5. Work out how to compare the original and edited versions of any file in your browser.
