Depends for what you need. It plays videos just fine most of the time.

No, I have no intentions to update or even to continue at this point. Main grudge is kernel quality and age, not to mention CedarX. In the future, when mainline kernel will be in good enough shape, I might resume work with newer code base. Till then, I will work on HDMI driver for mainline kernel...

BTW, you can check my LibreELEC fork. There is newer Kodi, however, without HW accelerated decoding.
