o/ I am slowly setting up my Jellyfin and things are going fine.
But when i have it on my laptop i have 2 different URLs to the server.
One being the local IP/URL and one being the external one.
The main issue is for the Desktop app: You can't have duplicate servers.
In fact you can't even know which server you are connecting too.
On the phone you can have multiple IPs/URLs present linking to the same server.
On the Desktop app you can't.
This is an issue due to the server not being always online accessible so i have to swap around the URLs all the time.
And since i can't see which one is saved (usually the local IP one it seems the desktop prefers) It basically becomes a pain.
Describe the solution you'd like
Do what the Android version does and allow duplicate entries and maybe also custom naming of each entry.
Also it would be nice if in the settings area (for the user) you show the connection you are joining from too.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Outside of installing an Andoid Emulator for a Laptop there isn't much I can do.
