Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I want to open https://jellyfin.instance/path...Item to be opened inside jellyfinmediaplayer.

e.g.

jellyfinmediaplayer "URL"

I wanted to wrap something, so I can do jellyfin:// to open it inside jellyfinmediaplayer

Found nothing around such feature

That'd be a great feature. Especially for the less "techy" friends of mine, I'd be able just send a link to an item directly.

If I could put in my two cents, it'd be good if you could provide a link to the server directly, ie, one that opens the player to a specific file as enter-a-random-username suggested, but also a link that has the same effect as the "Download" button.

If I could put in my two cents, a few types of links could be beneficial.

Type 1 is a standard link that opens the app to a particular page (movie, series, season, episode, etc)

Type 2 acts the same as if the user pressed the "Download" button on any piece of media.

Type 3 is a link to a SyncPlay group. (I know SyncPlay is kind of a niche feature, but it'd be nice for a few people. Or at least one person.)

I'm not sure if there'd need to be any tweaks on the server side for this, but if so, it could pave the way for "Intents" on the android app as well, which would help greatly for Automation too.
