Explain hardware decoding settings, and other client settings

This is a 2 part discussion

1) What is the difference between hardware decoding = copy and enabled?
I'm using linux, a nvidia gpu with the nonfree drivers, and xfce. Which should I choose? I went with "enabled" just to be safe.

2) Is there documentation for jellyfin media player's client settings?
There are some other settings that aren't immediately clear.

• What is the purpose of refresh-rate auto switching? My monitor is 60hz, no free/G-sync. Is this setting just to detect the refresh rate, or does it make the client support adaptive refresh displays?
• Should I enable deinterlace even if most or all of my content is progressive, just to be safe, and will it cause issues?
• What does enable input repeat mean?
