Mx player default subtitle not loading

Describe the bug

When playing a video from the home page, or clicking play in the series or season providers, the default subtitle is not enabled by default in mx player. If I open the specific episode in the episode provider and click play the default subtitle plays in mx player.

I have mp4 videos with external subtitles.

In all situations the subtitle is added to the player and I can select it after the video has started playing but it is not enabled by default unless i play the video from the episode provider.
