Add typescript definitions?

I'm working in sveltekit with typescript, although I'm new to the latter. I was able to address some typescript warnings when using this package by adding the following to my repo:

// textarea-autosize.d.ts
declare module 'textarea-autosize' {
  class TextareaAutoSize {
    constructor(element: HTMLTextAreaElement);
    destroy: () => void;
    update: () => void;
  }

  export { TextareaAutoSize };
}

I'm not sure if that's completely accurate, or how to go about integrating that into the distribution, but maybe this can help someone else dealing with this issue.
