Can't sign in using Google account with Windows Hello

I have Windows Hello enabled and I always use it to log into my Google account in Chrome browser (and also to access Chrome Passwords).

However, this does not work in the Perplexity app: when signing in I selected "Continue with Google",
then I entered my Gmail address:

Then I clicked "Try another way":

Then I selected "Use your passkey":

Then I entered my Windows PIN:

But after completing this step the app just stays on the login screen:

Currently, passkey support isn’t available in the Perplexity app, so Windows Hello won’t work for Google logins within the app. Our next release is almost ready, and since I’m still exploring how to implement passkey support, we'll try to add it in a future update soon after. Thanks!
