Sometimes the player may need or want to suspend the appearance of skeletons in his hero's army with the secondary skill Necromancy.
For example, to preserve more hero's movement on the adventure map.
(Images are for explanation only.)
I suggest adding a checkbox in the permanent information window where the checkbox can be checked or unchecked depending on the player's needs, to take into account or not the secondary skill Necromancy.
When the checkbox is checked, everything works as usual.
When the checkbox is unchecked, skeletons are generated but they are immediately dismissed and will not appear in the hero's army.
The text "Enabled" is displayed before the checkbox when it is checked, and the text "Disabled" is displayed before the checkbox when it is unchecked.
Displaying the temporary information window (with right-click and hold) also shows the active or inactive state of the secondary skill Necromancy (but in this case the checked or unchecked state of the checkbox cannot be changed).
In original game (modified):
In the secondary skill Necromancy window that appears after a combat, the checkbox and the text are also displayed and the status of the checkbox can be changed as well.
If the checked or unchecked status of the checkbox is changed, it will be taken into account when the player closes the window with the "OKAY" button.
A "DISMISS" button is also added to allow the player to dismiss skeletons one time at a time, e.g. after a combat engaged by the AI during the AI's turn and won by the player (so that the player's hero keeps a higher movement, because in this case the player could not "manually" dismiss skeletons generated before the start of his turn), without changing the checked or unchecked status of the checkbox.
In original game (modified):
Edit 2024/06/27.
Thinking about this, I think it's a bit of a shame that the skeletons generated are lost.
To avoid this, the player could receive gold instead of skeletons, to the value of 75 gold for each skeleton generated.
This would also allow the player to develop a different or mixed strategy between receiving creatures (skeleton) and obtaining gold to support his war effort.
Also, in normal operation, if there's no room in the hero's main creature inventory, generated skeletons are automatically directed into the hero's extended creature inventory when the option is activated.
There are two settings for this:
