play audio file once only

I am looking for one feature in an audio plugin.
I need a means to allow an audio file to be played only once.
I just need to hold this in the browser session so if page refresh is hit it won't replay.

if the user leaves the site and comes back at a later time that is fine to play once again.

asking if anyone has a clue how to do this or is there a developer that can help with this.

I have built the extraplugin and tested in a local version of CK editor if anyone wants it. based on the html5audio plugin from ckeditor. Now I am trying to get it to show up in the question description but I am unable to get Chamilo to show my extra plugin. if anyone has a clue how to do this it would be a great help
