Modifying search on document view sends two requests to search endpoint

Describe the bug
When using the text search in document view, two requests are sent to the server when the search string is modified.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to document view
2. Select the tab for text search
3. Enter a string and hit enter
4. In the network console two identical requests are sent to the search endpoint
5. Hit enter again without changing the search string
6. One request is sent
7. Modify the string and hit enter
8. Two requests are sent

Expected behavior
Only one request should be sent
