Assist is not able to provide a clear YES / NO information if "a light" is on - without explicitly asking for the entity name / alias.

  1. Only one LIGHT entity is available in our sleeping room.
The question "Is the light in the sleeping room on?" - will be answered with NO - even if the light is on.
    grafik

  2. Turn the light ON / OFF in the sleepingroom is working, without providing the alias / entity name.
The light will be turned on or off

  3. After setting "Light" as an alias for this particular light, the question from above is working as expected
    grafik

--> I would expect Assist to be able to provide a clear information "YES / NO" if ANY light is on in an area, without the need to ask for a specific entity / alias.

Asking the question in a different form is providing the correct information:
grafik

There's no such sentence in English (which is where all other languages draw inspiration from), but I don't see any reason not to add it.

Cancel that, the sentences exist in English and in German
