Feature: Fine-grained control of features

I would like to be able to limit what HA has access to in the agent, for example only read-only access except for power control.

Whichever way is simplest to limit the access from HA-side to the agent/computer, per groups of features or specific features.

Could you please describe in detail how you'd see the access being limited?
I'm thinking this could be a target for a v3 which is a total rewrite because with the current architecture it might be not feasible to implement.
