Starting a placeholder for this one. There are few forecast products Tom wants us to add to the available forecast data options. The priority is wind.

We are using one of the NCEP products to get point location forecast data for the wind/wave forecast legacy product: http://neracoos.org/datatools/forecast/wind_wave

I did a quick scan in Ian's Google Docs but didn't find anything. I think it predates documentation efforts. :)
Many of the govt. websites are down for the shutdown (NCEI and the climate data center), but I found a found a few potential sources looking on the NCEP website. The first link looks like the right data, but appears to only be in GRIB format:
https://ocean.weather.gov/opc_gridded_marine.php

This is from Co-ops, the Gulf of Maine Operational Forecast, but it's not running at the moment:
https://tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/ofs/gomofs/gomofs.html

https://madis-data.ncep.noaa.gov/MadisSurface/

I'll keep digging.

How about we separate out forecasts by type that we want, and hunt down sources:
