Here is a requirement. When I monitor a certain string in the log through Mtail and detect it, I want to inform the recipient of the timestamp and content of the matched log through the email template of Alertmanager.

So, I want to know if mtail can customize annotation. If possible, what actions should I take? Ths!!!

I think we'd need to support a way to record exemplars on a metric and for you to be able to extract an exemplar when sending the alert.

mtail doesn't (yet) support this. Does OpenTelemetry support exemplars fully yet?
