Description

Enhance the console tab functionality by introducing an automatic copy-to-clipboard feature when text is highlighted. Currently, users must manually copy selected text, which adds unnecessary steps and disrupts workflow efficiency. The proposed feature will automatically copy any highlighted text to the clipboard upon selection, streamlining data extraction and debugging processes.

Why

This feature improves user experience by reducing the number of actions required to copy information, making the console tab more intuitive and efficient. Developers frequently copy error messages, logs, or specific code snippets from the console, and automating this process minimizes repetitive tasks. It enhances productivity, especially in fast-paced debugging sessions, and aligns with modern UX standards for developer tools.

Closing Criteria

  • Highlighted text in the console tab is automatically copied to the clipboard.
