Please confirm there isn't an open report for this issue

Apparmor missing

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install from IOS and reboot
  2. sudo aa-status
  3. sudo systemctl status apparmor.service

Expected result

Old install from last spring, continuously updated every week. Never installed/used snaps.

Other comments

With the deprecation of snap support and previous issue with apparmor service failing to start i thought it best to make a report on this just in case. My understanding is that the kernel still uses apparmor but i am unsure if the systemd service is still used.

Installing apparmor on the 4.7 system and rebooting will display the services as running as can be seen in the expected result above.

If this is expected then it would be appreciated to make a mention of it in the docs for the sake of clarity.
