NOS Chatos

Introduction

NOS Chatos allows users to chat while watching their favorite channels.

YOU WILL NEVER WATCH ALONE.

Description

    NOS Chatos allows users to chat while watching their favorite channels. Users can use our mobile or web application to interact with others while chat is being updated live on the TV. Users can use the public chat room to interact with other users or create private rooms and invite friends to talk about what they are watching. It's also possible to join any room without password.

  • What's the audience:

    Anyone with a NOS service.

  • What technology will you use:

    Backend with nodeJS and mongoDB.

    Android app (for now) with .... Java.

Other information

The project will be a proof of concept. One of the main goals is to add an add-on/plugin in NOS TV Box that will display the chat along side the real time TV. Users will be able to sign up/in in our mobile app with NOS account credentials. Unfortunately, we can not do that with the current API access and tools that were provided.
