What happened?

After a recent update I'm encountering an issue that I can reproduce by changing network settings with the relevant config options enabled.

With "Background Behavior" set to "Keep Playing" and "Switch to Audio in Background" enabled if you start a video with both mobile data and wifi enabled then disable wifi and press the home button to move the app to the background it now restarts the video from the beginning, a similar thing seems to occur when doing the same thing but moving back into the app so it loads the video again instead of playing audio only.

I'm not sure if this occurs on other plugins, I only watch videos through Youtube.

I'm fairly certain this only started occurring after the last time I was prompted to update Grayjay itself, I think it may also reset the video in some other circumstances but I'm not exactly sure what they are other than a network change as I have a video playing on my phone and I leave the house and change to mobile network. In these cases the phone is in sleep mode (screen off, not sure if this is actually the name for it) and I also have the option to allow the app to run in the background enabled in Android.

Let me know if any other details are needed and thank you for the good work with this, the app is well worth the purchase.

I can confirm this it also happens when changing resolutions sometimes as well it appears as though anytime the block detected attempting bypass toast pops up the player resets playback and does not properly remember its current position in the timeline. It's also worth noting that this occurs on the YouTube plugin and unlike the op I was not logged into YouTube when this occurred

Also seeing this issue on a pixel 6 running Graphene OS, both wifi to data and data to wifi from the wifi coming in and out of range during playback

This May be related but seems somewhat different from #1657 as this occurs with video in full screen and is not limited to background play

This happens to me either with video in background or video showing on screen, in full screen or portrait mode, when changing networks

I'm also having this issue every time my phone switches network. It is reproducable by playing a video with phone connected to wifi followed by switching to mobile data (turn off wifi or wifi signal loss). When playing video in foreground a message pops up saying "block detected, attempt bypass" and video starts playing from the beginning, regardless of video playing on foreground or background. Also happens when connecting/disconnecting a VPN.

I'm also experiencing this on both ver 268 and 278. Quite annoying especially when leaving or entering wifi networks (my main usecase for the app 💀)
