What feature or improvement do you think would benefit Files?

Simply what the title says. I want to disable the ability to overscroll. Kind of like setting Chrome's #elastic-overscroll flag or Firefox's apz.overscroll.enabled flag to false.

Requirements

  • This proposal will accomplish making scrolling not a miserable experience.

Thanks for the report, Can you send a screen recording of what you mean by over scrolling.

Can you confirm if this is the same as #15962?

I'm not super sure, because "smooth scrolling" could possibily mean different things. Anyways, here's that screen recording: (Also navigation gestures are also realllllly annoying, could I get rid of those, too?)

I think it's slightly different than smooth scrolling, but we can track in the same issue. Merging with #15962
