What were you trying to do and how can we improve it?

I've received requests for support via text and facebook. Thought it wise to look up names to ensure legitimacy before sending money. I found your database confusing to use. I would love to see more of a user friendly version. Or even a reference to another site that is focused on the general population rather than the real, necessary, but involved documentation required for legal & accounting reasons. Ex: Democratic Governors Association. I see from their website that they seem to be legit, but I can't find specific reference to them. Not a candidate. Don't want to review everything that has "democrat" or "governors" or "association" in it (i.e. "other pages") so I assume it's a committee. But I don't get anything. I guess I do not know how to use your search engine.

General feedback?

I realize this website was not built to be used by the general public, but I don't think it would take too many tweeks to make it reasonably accessible to the general public. I'd love to offer specific ideas/feedback to make it more user friendly (after this cycle is OVER - sigh). If you're interested. Don't want to waste time, of course.
