Setting up Fairy Stockfish on lichess

To set up a lichess bot with Fairy-Stockfish, it is recommended to use the lichess bot client https://github.com/ShailChoksi/lichess-bot. Follow the instructions in its readme to set up your bot account and your bot client. Also check the initial blog post introducing lichess bots https://lichess.org/blog/WvDNticAAMu_mHKP/welcome-lichess-bots.

Variants

Fairy-Stockfish supports all lichess variants, so make sure to enable/uncommend all variants in the config.yml.

NNUE

If you want to use NNUE networks to improve the strength of your Fairy-Stockfish bot, make sure to define the EvalFile option in the uci_options section according to https://github.com/ianfab/Fairy-Stockfish/wiki/Settings#evalfile.
