Description

After minimizing the WhatsApp (downloaded from MS store) and attempting to preview it from the taskbar, two preview windows appear, even though only one instance of the app is running. The extra window either remains empty or duplicates the content of the actual preview.

Issue seem to only happen after minimizing.

(I couldn't reproduce this issue on any other application other WhatsApp from MS store).

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Open WhatsApp and minimize it.
  2. Hover over WhatsApp in taskbar (also WhatsApp icon doesn't show).

This will show 2 tabs of WhatsApp the second one doesn't open even its there closing it closes both windows.

Expected behavior

Only one Preview window should be shown.

Update

Experienced same issue with MS Store
