MigraDoc.Rendering.Forms.DocumentPreview

Hello, I need some support for the upgrade to 6.2 .
With the old MigraDoc version I used the MigraDoc.Rendering.Forms.DocumentPreview to have a preview of the PDF shown to the user.
That was also explain in the example. https://www.pdfsharp.net/wiki/documentviewer-sample.ashx

With the new version 6.2 I can't find anything like this.

Is it missing oder do you have a other solution to get a preview?

I have the same problem. I was using MigraDoc.Rendering.Forms.DocumentPreview in a Windows Forms application (package id="PDFsharp-MigraDoc-gdi" version="1.51.5186-beta" targetFramework="net48"), but now I can't find the corresponding functionality in 6.2.x.

For PDFsharp 6, consult the PDFsharp 6 documentation:

Quote: "From "PDFsharp Core" switch to "PDFsharp GDI" if your code runs under Windows only"

And that's the answer: try the GDI build of PDFsharp (or the WPF build) if you need the preview.

Thanks @ThomasHoevel for your replay.
The linked upgrade guide doesn't have any information about the Preview. I can't find any information in that side.
I'm only working with the GDI version 1.50.5147.0. And I tried the 6.1.1 and 6.2.0-preview-2 verions. Both with no success.
May it is not implemented in 6.xx?

But MigraDoc.Rendering.Forms.DocumentPreview is not available:

The only reference to MigraDoc.Rendering.Forms in the source code is available here src\foundation\src\MigraDoc\src\MigraDoc.Rendering\Rendering.Forms\DocumentPreviewWpf.cs :

This appears to be an undocumented (and very unfortunate) breaking change.

Sorry, my fault.
We are using MigraDoc-WPF and it has the DocumentPreview class.
I falsely assumed the preview would also be there in the MigraDoc-GDI build - but it isn't.
The DocumentPreview will return to MigraDoc-GDI with PDFsharp 6.2.0 Preview 3. I cannot give an ETA yet.

The screenshot above shows a file that was already deprecated with MigraDoc 1.5.

The files you need can be found here:

You also need a user control from the PDFsharp-1.5 repo.

Thank you Thomas, we really appreciate your efforts in bringing back the DocumentPreview class with PDFsharp 6.2.0 Preview 3: it's a very useful functionality and it worked rather well already with MigraDoc 1.5.
