Kodi tries to update Elementum and the whole of Kodi crashes after 10 seconds. I was able to get Kodi going by disabling Elementum, removing auto update and then using the current version I have (v0.1.104). Anyone experiencing something similar?

Debug log file would be helpful. Otherwise hard to say something. Guide how to create log file was in issue template.

There was issue when update from 104 to 105, but 106 should have fix that issue. So what you described is a bit confusing.
Log file is really needed.

So the issue is for Android only (on other systems should be fine, unless system uses shared library approach, but currently it us only android)
It is in version 104 itself (and unfortunately it is my code change causes the issue). Even if you open elementum's settings and then click "restart Elementum " - it will also crash Kodi. Restart is stop and start. Stop cause crash.
And for update Elementum need to stop old version.

@Djtrip83
The solution for you will be:
disable elementum , then update it to version 106, then enable it.

Also next time please use template and specify OS, kodi version and log file and etc.

Ok - will jump to v106 at the weekend manually. I was probably reporting an older issue.

PS: on GitHub mobile, there was no issue template and could not attach any file... Hence no log

@Djtrip83 jfyi: you can update disabled addon via repository, so no need to download zip file.
Or uninstall with keeping configs and install again.

This is sad news. Thanks for info.
