Your use case

What would you like to do?

Easily directly next to the microphone and video buttons change input+output and video input

Why would you like to do it?

Jitsi solved that really nice, zoom as well where you have a small carrot symbol ^ next to the buttons to change microphone, audio out and video easily.

How would you like to achieve it?

Have you considered any alternatives?

+10000 - especially given legacy call in EW got this right, with the caret-button based UI (see below), and I /think/ we had this working in EC in the early days too.

Screenshot 2024-11-04 at 11 11 27 @ara4n We had this in the first SPA we built with Robert. I don't understand why this was removed. We should add again.

If we were to add this again, we should test this out on mobile or work out an alternative so it is usable.
