Using time instead of chrono

Hey @edg-l,

I wanted to ask if you are interested in having time as an alternative to chrono?
I already made some changes in my fork (Atrox@c10a05e) but I would assume you wouldn't want to merge this, as it currently replaces chrono completely. Would you be open to have time as a feature flag?

I would be open if you make a pr, otherwise i can do it when i find some free time.
