In extreme circumstances, the selection highlight box can become misaligned with the tip of the cursor.

All edge cases are non-permanent and can be fixed by stopping the selection highlight.

Identified misalignment bugs:

Misalignment after moving the cursor VERY fast
Misalignment after moving the browser (using shortcut keys) during selection event
Misalignment after resizing the browser (using shortcut keys) during selection event
