We plan to do a few breaking changes for version 4.0 of Langium. These include:

  • Refactoring some of the completion logic to improve behavior Completion/Content Assist Epic #1678
  • Refactoring some of the formatting API to improve behavior
  • Supporting multi-target references Support multi-target references #1509
  • Make parseResult optional on Langium documents (to improve document lifecycle) [?]
  • Improve performance of generated code [? Requires benchmark first]
