Information slideshow sucks

The info slideshow on the front page looks great until you try to read anything from it. It moves too fast so you inevitably get cut off in the middle of reading. It doesn't stop when your mouse is over it, there's no way to go back. Its hella annoying. I would strongly recommend slowing down how fast it changes slides and add in a pause control, because it distracts from the rest of the site. A moving thing like this makes it hard for the eye to focus on other thing on the website (think 90s myspace page or idiotic gif-filled "10 reasons why gilmore girls was the best" articles). Also, put in a way to go back or forward through the slides. PLEASE fix this. This is such a bad popular format, please do it right or kill it.
