Update webpage build/version info #18
Comments
Hey, Which website are you talking about ? |
Now that I write this I realize it's actually a trac instance. Will just create an account then.. |
Seems that not possible? How can I edit that page. Is it the 'official' project page after all? I just noted that you posted the last new entry of the project being moved to Github. |
Well I keep the website because there's useful information but thanks to spam, self registering is off. I can create an account if you send me an email at [email protected] |
The webpage still says "GCC 3 or greater is recommended.", we depend on 4.7 with the recent changes, by using the -std=c++0x flag we could make that 4.3/4.4 probably, however I think 4.7 is reasonable to assume, debian and RHEL ship at least 4.8.
Other documentation might have to be updated as well because some build parameters were removed / renamed for consistency with cmake internal mechanisms. Is the webpage source available somehow? I'd be glad to do the changes myself and issue pull requests.
