Now that #1364 is done, we can try to replace PHPUnit 9 with PHPUnit 10.
Here's the list of things to do:

  • adapt the tests/BypassFinalHook.php file to use the new event system
  • remove the polyfills
  • replace phpdoc annotations with attributes in test files
  • fix the configuration file
  • change the @PHPUnit84Migration:risky key in the .php-cs-fixer.php file
