I couldn't find a way to display transparent markers, so they don't totally hide the lines shown in other layers (i.e. coastlines, country or state/province boundaries, or perhaps other WKT lines passed as parameters).
Maybe this is possible using the WMS interface? (I searched the code for the word "transparent" and it appears there).
But I don't know how to use it and combine with the documented api parameters.
In case the feature exists, would it be possible to see a demostrative WMS request example?
(i.e. some transparent red circle markers over a black coastline, a state/provice boundary and/or a user-defined WKT feature)
Anyway, thanks a lot again for this great software @abubelinha

Last I recall, there's no way to make the lines/edges of the markers themselves transparent, merely their fill. This may have changed in newer versions of Mapserver, but it would (a) require some investigation and (b) some heroics to update the entire codebase to make use of more modern versions than what's been in use here for 5+ years.
